CHINA AIRPORT ORIENTATION

Arrive at least three hours prior to departure

AT THE CHECK-IN COUNTER


Check in your luggage directly to your final destination, unless you are planning a break in the journey

Collect / fill in / attach baggage tags for all pieces of your hand baggage

Please confirm your food-preference

Collect your Embarkation Card (required to be filled in and handed over at Immigration-check)

Confirm that you have taken all your documents viz passport, ticket jacket, boarding card(s) and baggage tags before you leave the
counter

Once through this check-in you are not allowed to come out into the general area

IN-FLIGHT GUIDELINES


Please take care of all your documents

Always be seated on the seat assigned to you

Follow emergency /important instructions given by the in-flight personnel



AT INTERNATIONAL STOPS


One of the first things that you should do is to adjust your watch to
the local time The flight can leave you quite tired and disoriented
so do not depend upon your mathematical abilities to determine the
local time

Take care of your luggage

Try to determine your departure point in advance International
airports are very spread out, and you may have to traverse quite a
distance to get to your departure terminal


On alighting from the plane you may ask people or signs will guide
you to the immigration counter where you must present a valid
passport and visa

Please fill this De-embarkation Card before you reach the
immigration counter

Make sure that whatever you say is the same as written on the
paper Please keep the counter foil of the De-embarkation Card
you are given very carefully

After examination the immigration officer will stamp your passport
and the De-embarkation Card

Talk only when you are required to and answer should be relevant to
the question asked
